Life on our Family Farm in Arkansas

WE are “Whisenhunt Farms”

Whisenhunt Farms is owned by Joel & Amanda Whisenhunt, along with our 3 children Hadyn ,Lauren & Caleb. While our business name represents this 382 acres in Southwest Arkansas we call home and how the many pieces of our operation fit together.... we carry the pride and determination to care for our livestock as a whole in our HEARTS!

Farm Family

Our family was selected and featured as Howard County Farm Family of the Year in 2016 followed by the West Central District Farm Family for the state of Arkansas. We raise beef cattle, Dorper sheep, commercial poultry, as well as being a Border Collie & Corgi breeder. We have chosen to be home educators since 2019. Our last school aged child (Caleb) remains active in 4H with his livestock projects of swine and beef cattle. Our other 2 children remain on our family farm with Hadyn recently married and introducing his new wife Cheyenne to our lifestyle that we love!

Forever Farmers

Our love for stock runs deeper than financial need. We eat what we grow, Hunt our land, Pamper our pigs in show and teach our children that they are entitled to nothing .... WORK never ends on a farm but it is our LIFE......Farming years has many ups and downs and sometimes gives us doubts about our quest in this life. We are blessed to be part of a farming community that extends beyond blood to offer support in keeping us on this path of helping feed America.

Heaven

We are members of the Church of Christ in Nashville, AR that meets on Sunset Street where Joel serves as a deacon. We believe that on Judgement Day every knee shall bow & we will all be judged by God according to his commandments in the New Testament. Above all our goals on this Earth - Our ultimate GOAL is to reach HEAVEN.
